Artificial Intelligence Modern Approach - A Quick Read

There are number of books written in the area of artificial intelligence. Among them, Artificial Intelligence Modern Approach is one of the best books that are available that explains the total area of artificial intelligence.

The book Artificial Intelligence Modern Approach was written by Stuart Russell and Peter Norvig. This book has been crowned as the leading text book for the field of artificial intelligence. It is proven by the  fact that about 1,100 universities around the world use it as an official text book in their undergraduate and postgraduate courses of study. I’m pretty sure that this is an amazing accomplishment for a text book.

In part 1, it is all about presenting the area of AI to the pupils. Since the book is designed for undergraduates, the readers need not to have any knowledge of artificial intelligence. In addition to that Artificial Intelligence Modern Approach book introduces intelligence agents in the first part.

In the part two, artificial intelligence problem solving is introduced. Although someone will feel that it is too early to talk about artificial intelligence problem solving, this chapter simply explains the approaches used for problem solving without going to deeper discussions.

Part three to part seven of Artificial Intelligence Modern Approach is about different areas of artificial intelligences. Part 3 is all about knowledge and reasoning. The first-order logic and the related problems are emphasized in this part.

Artificial intelligence planning is the next chapter in the book. When it comes to AI, not much stress has been given for AI planning. Therefore, dedicating an entire part for planning is a great move as it fulfills the knowledge requirement of the students.

Part five is entirely dedicated for uncertainty related problems. Uncertain knowledge and reasoning is what is under focus in this part. In addition to that, this part presents a great deal of knowledge about simple and complex decision making in artificial intelligence.

Since machine learning is one of the important topics of artificial intelligence, Artificial Intelligence Modern Approach has dedicated the next part for machine learning. AKAI recently presented a big, 15” Digital Picture Frame to the market.  The dimension of the frame is impressive, and it will bring out the details of your photographs, making them more pleasant to look at.  It is not full of features, which can be a positive thing, depending on who you are.  If you are someone who is non-technical, who desires to have a digital picture frame that simply works, who just desires to showcase pics of family, friends, trips, and those awesome nature shots that you captured, etc., then the AKAI digital picture frame is for you.

The AKAI digital picture frame is constructed utilizing select glossy plastic as the frame.  Not only that, the glossiness has also been applied to the 15” screen.  The material body is above average, giving this item a big first-impression.

The AKAI digital picture frame incorporates both USB and mini-USB ports.  The card reader supports SD, xD, CompactFlash, MMC, and MemoryStick; JPEG photo format is supported for images and as far as movies go, MPEG1, MPEG2, and MPEG4 video formats are supported, along with MP3 for audio.

When you hear the term “internet marketing“, what do you think of?

For many, that term conjures thoughts of websites or spamming or search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing. For others, it’s all about graphical design, writing fancy code or even affiliate programs. All of those answers correct, but the essence of internet marketing is much simpler.

At its core, internet marketing is about these things:

* Understanding the target market to which the product/service/cause you’re marketing will appeal
* Determining exactly how your target market interacts with the internet
* Positioning your content on the internet to attract the attention of your target market
* Collecting information about your target market (also known as “leads”) for follow-up and conversion into sales
* Design of offers or incentives to induce the desired actions from your leads

Since there is insufficient space in this article to give all of these topics adequate attention, let’s focus on just one specific topic with the realm of internet marketing: Email Marketing.

My best payoff has always come by focusing on permission-based email marketing. Permission-based email marketing refers to the practice of collecting information (including email addresses) from website visitors and communicating with them via e-mail with their direct consent. The “permission” aspect of permission-based email marketing is what separates legitimate email marketers from the spammers that everyone despises.

My love of email marketing is strong for one reason: It works very well. Email marketing has been much like a never-ending goldmine: It enables us to produce income on demand simply by sending a good offer to our list. When you have thousands of loyal subscribers - as we do - and you put a strong and compatible offer in front of them, income becomes nearly automatic.

However, the key to successful email marketing is the development of a legitimate trust relationship with your subscribers. If you opt to send your subscribers a request for purchases every single day, they will likely tire of your badgering and cease reading your emails altogether.

Alternatively, if you take the time to provide good content to your readers on a regular and frequent basis, you’ll discover that your readers take all of your emails far more seriously, and as a result your emails will be opened, read and acted upon with greater frequency. Essentially, email marketing is really an exercise in trust.

Even though there are more sides to internet marketing than just email marketing (permission based), email has been the foundation that our business sits on.

The number one games console

This is an argument that has been in debate not just for this generation of games consoles but since the beginning. Is the best consoel going to be Wii, 360 or PS3?

The Wii has sold very well that is without a doubt, but it really doesnt do much for me at all. The major let down is not the console but the games. The games are being made to a poor standard and to the general market. Nintendo just seem to have left the fans behind. Nintendo have also rather insultingly announced another Zelda DS game and Mario Galaxy 2 both of which seem to be almost complete copies of the previous edditions.

The PS3 is a good console. The only reason I really bothered with this console was for the Blu-Ray. the word free should not always be used in a positive way. The servers and games are really laggy and the overall experience is very poor. Compared to Gears of War and Halo the PS3 exclusives are not brilliant. The PS3 wand does seem to rip off the Wii.   

The overall experience I recieve from the Xbox seems to be the best which is why it is number one on my list. The games are a lot better and the online service (although paid for) never really recieves lag. Live recieves many updates that actually do things. Project Natal is also on the way for the Xbox which hopefully will mean only one thing, domination of this generation. At least Microsoft are tying to keep the fans happy. They have also secured the rights to for the new Splinter Cell to be a 360 Exclusive which is going to be very nice indeed.
